Lessons

I love picking The Trifecta up from Sunday School.  Chris and I usually spend the hour camped outside the door, peaking in the window and listening for their cries.  Because we are crazy, that’s why.

When the hour comes to an end their saint of a teacher and her assistant line them up at the door, pray with them, and then unleash them into the hallway.
They scream, “MOMMY!  DADDY!” and begin their routine of sharing.  Hendley begins by reporting those who “were not makin’ good choices.”  Elizabeth follows with the snack synopsis.  Mary Ellis needs a minute to snuggle.

“What did you learn about today?” Chris asked this past Sunday.  “Heewing,” Mary Ellis replied. “Peter and John went to the temple to pway,” Hendley shared.
“They healed the name man! He couldn’t walk!” Elizabeth exclaimed. “Day were jumpin’ da air!” added Hendley.

In case you didn't get that, Mary Ellis told me about the man who was sick and couldn't walk (The "name" man, aka, the lame man). When Peter and John saw the man he asked them for money. Hendley told me that the man got something better than money.

It made we really happy to hear them talk about what they learned.  Their lessons teach me too.
Jesus gave Peter and John the ability to heal the man in His name.  He still performs miracles today.  Look at The Tiny Toes Trifecta!  If their conception and delivery don't amaze you, keep in mind they weighed about 3 pounds a pop at birth.
Everything good in my life has come from Jesus.  To each person reading this blog, it is my prayer that if you have a boo-boo, whether it is emotional or physical, God will heal you too.
With God all things are possible!
